India has the largest young population in the world (580million+ aged between 5-24 years) but we couldn't achieve demographic leverage due to lack of sufficient skill education. Skills enhancement has always been critical for the economic and social development of any country. It is observed that states with skilled manpower respond more effectively to the challenges and opportunities of globalization. It has been observed that about 80 percent of the youth workforce does not possess identifiable marketable skills. This is primarily due to the lack of focus on developing specific skills and the integration of a culture of innovation in education.

The National Education Policy 2020 brings hope, but the gap between policy and implementation remains. However, the spirit of learning thrives within the community, with students demonstrating a strong inclination towards skill-based education. The vision is to create an educational ecosystem where every child, irrespective of their socio-economic background, is equipped with essential 21st-century skills. By fostering digital literacy, vocational training, and innovative teaching methods, we can empower the youth to excel academically and emerge as future leaders, driving the socio-economic progress of the nation.

Objectives

The primary objective of this initiative is to create an enriching educational environment that equips students in government schools with the skills and knowledge required to excel in the modern world. Through the establishment of a Skill Lab and the implementation of a Skill Enrichment Program, we aim to bridge the gap between traditional education and the demands of the 21st century. This project is designed to address multiple facets of student development, including cognitive, emotional, social, and vocational aspects.
